Learning objectives

Referring to knowledge

  • Design, implement and analyse experimental protocols.
  • Prepare reports on results found in an experimental protocol.
  • Use the necessary statistical and computer tools to analyse the data obtained.
  • Summarise the results obtained and draw coherent conclusions in relation to them.
  • Undertake a critical analysis of the work carried out (approach, methodology and conclusions).

More specifically, the final project (or TFG) should serve to verify that students have acquired the general and specific transversal competences included in the objectives of the degree course according, that is, to the nature and specific characteristics of the project undertaken.

Students must demonstrate that they have acquired the necessary competences presented throughout the degree in Biochemistry. This means that what is evaluated is the degree of acquisition of these skills and not the data presented or the scientific progress they represent.

Students prepare and draft the TFG autonomously, with the supervision of the tutor as established in the corresponding official guidelines. The written report must be presented and defended before a tribunal of faculty members.
