Continuous assessment

Continuous assessment comprises four tasks to be completed in class or online, in groups or individually, depending on the specific instructions given by the lecturer. The three highest marks are taken into account and are worth a combined total of 40% of the final grade. Students also sit a final examination, worth 60% of the final grade, the specific details of which are confirmed by the lecturer at the beginning of the course.

Students who are entered for repeat assessment take an examination as the one described for the single assessment option.

EUS group: students who fail two or more of the continuous assessment assignments must sit the final examination of the single assessment option.

Examination-based assessment

Single assessment consists of a final examination divided into a test, for which a pass mark must be obtained (60% of the final grade), and two assignments similar to the ones completed during the course (40% of the final grade).

EUS group: students who fail two or more continuous assessment activities must also follow the single assessment procedure.

Students who are entered for repeat assessment take an examination as the one described for the single assessment option.
