Learning objectives

— Identify and apply the procedures most commonly used in univariate and multivariate statistical analysis.

— Use statistical software programs for univariate and multivariate analysis, including Excel, SPSS, R, Deducer and PAST.

— Apply statistical tools to solve problems in different fields of biological anthropology.

2. ANOVA (and a non-parametric equivalent), ANCOVA and MANOVA

3. Correlations and partial correlation. Linear regression, curvilinear regression and logistic regression.
