Referring to knowledge Gain first-hand experience of the organization, operation, tasks and skills deployed by an institution or service in its conducting of external professional practices (Specialist track: Psychoeducational Interventions).
Gain first-hand experience of the organization, operation, tasks and skills deployed by a research group in its development of a specific research project in educational psychology (Specialist track: Psycoeducational Research).
Respect human diversity (differences in gender, culture, abilities and resources), recognise social and economic injustice and adopt an attitude of personal and professional commitment to a continuous process of social change.
Referring to abilities, skills Apply the theoretical and methodological knowledge acquired during the course to the activities and tasks assigned by the institution or service when completing the internship (Specialist track: Psychoeducational Interventions).

1. Professional internship for students on the specialist track in Psychoeducational Interventions
* The work students undertake depends on the working plan of the institution in which they undertake the internship, which may include: a psychoeducational service run by the local authority; a school providing infant, primary or secondary education; a school providing special education; a school providing early care; a service providing counselling in educational psychology; an institution providing informal education; a cultural/educational institution; a non-governmental organisation working in school or community education; or a company providing educational resources or services.
2. Professional internship for students on the specialist track in Psychoeducational Research
* Students work in a research group under the supervision of one of the group members.
Students work in one of the lines of research being conducted by the groups participating in the Master’s degree. 3. Professional internship for students on the specialist track in Psychoeducational Counselling in Secondary Education
* The work students undertake depends on the working plan of the institutions in which they undertake the internship, which may include: a psychoeducational service run by the local authority or public or private secondary schools.

Students obtaining a final grade of 9 or more, may, at the discretion of the faculty, be awarded a ’matrķcula d’honor’, albeit that no more than 5% of the students enrolled on the course can receive this award.
